A gentle reminder to our Micklefield parents to please be mindful of our neighbours during morning drop-off and afternoon pick-up. Kindly ensure that driveways are not blocked and that cars are parked safely and considerately. Let’s continue to show respect and care for our wider community — thank you for your cooperation.
Please note that the library will be conducting its annual stock take at the end of this term. As a result, no library books may be taken out from Monday, 17 November.
We kindly ask that all school library books be returned by Friday, 21 November. After this date, any missing or unreturned books will, unfortunately, be billed to parents’ accounts.
Thank you for your cooperation and for helping us keep our library collection complete and ready for the new year.

New Extramural: Junior Medics – First Aid Fun!
We are excited to announce that Junior Medics is joining our extra‑mural line‑up this term at Micklefield!
Designed especially for young learners, the program combines engaging games, role‑play and hands‑on activities to empower children with life‑saving first‑aid skills.
Let’s equip our girls not just with academic skills but with meaningful life‑skills — we can’t wait to get started.
The girls had a great Gala against Pinehurst last Friday.
Last week, our Grade 7 Pastoral Committee warmly hosted a special tea to show appreciation for Micklefield’s incredible support staff. The girls beautifully decorated the tables, served treats, and shared heartfelt words of thanks for all the hard work and care our staff provide throughout the year.
It was a wonderful reminder of the importance of kindness and community at Micklefield.
The Grade 5 girls learnt how to build simple circuits with Club Electron. Through hands-on activities and guided exploration, they discovered how electricity flows, how to power lights, and how to troubleshoot when things didn’t work quite as planned.

This week, Laura in Grade 6 made a beautiful gesture of kindness by cutting off all her hair and donating it to CANSA to help make wigs for cancer patients. We are so proud of Laura for her generous heart and inspiring act of compassion.
