Bianca (Grade 4)

As you may know, the Cape Town Children’s Choir (CTCC) is based at Beau Soleil Music Centre in Kenilworth. We run two choirs: CTCC Juniors for ages

  • 7-10 (no audition required) and
  • CTCC Seniors for ages 10-16 (auditioned).

Both groups rehearse on Friday afternoons during the school term.

At CTCC, our aim is to create a space where children from all communities across our city can develop their choral skills, grow in confidence, and work towards excellence. We also hope to foster meaningful connections and friendships among children and families.

We would love to share this opportunity with as many learners and parents as possible. We recognise that some schools do not have a choral programme, and in these cases, we would be honoured to serve as the choir that those learners may join. At the same time, we are very aware that many schools offer outstanding choir programmes of their own. Please be assured that we are committed to supporting your learners in ways that complement and respect your school’s music activities. We actively encourage all choristers to participate fully in their school choirs and music events, and your school’s commitments always take priority in our scheduling.

We believe we have something truly special to offer, and we hope to partner with you to expand opportunities for young singers-offering them the joy of choral excellence and choral adventures while helping to bridge the economic, cultural, and social divides within our city.  If you’d like to see more of what we are about, please visit our website at www.ctcchoir.co.za  <http://www.ctcchoir.co.za>  and connect with us on Facebook or Instagram.
