Golden Tickets at the Ready – It’s Show Time 🍫🎭

We’re thrilled to announce that our school production of Charlie and the Chocolate Factory is coming this September.

Step into a world of pure imagination as our talented young cast brings Roald Dahl’s beloved tale to life on stage – complete with golden tickets, Oompa Loompas, and of course, a visit from the one and only Willy Wonka.

As we prepare for this magical adventure, we need your help behind the scenes. We will be calling on our amazing parent community to help with:

  • Set building and painting (let’s make that chocolate factory shine!)

  • Costume co-ordination

  • Costume sourcing (can you help us find some Oompa Loompa-worthy outfits?)

Whether you’re handy with a hammer, have a flair for fashion, or just love to be part of the action, we’d love to have you on board.

Keep an eye out for more info coming soon, including rehearsal schedules and ticket details.

weekly snapshot

Hockey Tour

Well done to our Open A squad players who were selected to go on hockey tour to Knysna at the start of the school holidays.  Our girls were excellent ambassadors for Micklefield, both on and off the field.  They received compliments from the way in which they played to their uniforms and their good manners.

The girls played 12 matches over the 3 days, winning 4, drawing 4 and losing 4.  We are very proud of them!
