Micklefield Turns 100 in 2028

We’re updating our database to reconnect with past pupils, families, and friends of the school in preparation for our centenary in 2028.

If you are part of our Micklefield Alumni, please take a moment to update your details using the link HERE – and feel free to pass it on to anyone you know with a Micklefield connection. Let’s make sure everyone is part of this special milestone.

Lost Property Alert!

Our lost property collection is overflowing. Please encourage your children to check for any missing items. All unclaimed belongings will be cleared out on Friday, 13 June — with uniforms being passed on to the Second-Hand Shop and other items donated.

Lost property is located in the storage area next to the Multifunction Room.

Social Media Reminder

A gentle reminder to all members of our school community.

As outlined in our Social Media Policy: pupils and parents/guardians, may not publish any other individual’s personal information — including videos, images, photographs, or messages — without their express permission.

This means, for example, that parents should avoid posting pictures or videos of other people’s children on social media unless they have been given explicit permission.

We appreciate your support in helping us maintain a respectful and safe environment for all our families.

Aftercare Pick-Up Reminder

We kindly remind all parents to please ensure that their children are collected promptly by 17:30 at the latest from Aftercare.

Families arriving after 17:30 will be charged a late fee per half hour (or part thereof). This measure is in place to help us manage staff time fairly and consistently.

Please be mindful that our Aftercare teachers have already had a long day and also need to travel home to their own families. Your punctuality shows appreciation for their time and dedication.

Thank you for your understanding and cooperation.

Calling all knitwits – the annual challenge is on!

We hope to continue our tradition of helping those less fortunate than ourselves to wrap up warmly this winter.

We encourage you to knit or crochet beanies and/or scarves this year. Send the completed items to school and we will deliver these to the “Knitting Fairies” charity who will distribute these items according to the needs of our community.

Ready, set, get knitting!!!
