Academic

At Micklefield, we provide a broad-based education committed to the development of academic excellence, creative thinking and effective communication skills. Each child’s individual potential is developed through differentiated teaching in small intimate classes. With one class per grade and a maximum of 25 girls per class, every girl is given the opportunity to shine!

Leadership Programme

There is a strong emphasis on developing life skills and senior girls are involved in a pro-active and effective Leadership Committee and are given extensive training as Peer Mediators. Each Grade 7 is placed in a portfolio committee for the year. The Leadership Programme includes a Conflict Resolution Workshop for the Grade 6s and a Grade 7 Leadership Camp which is a much anticipated highlight for the girls in their final year of Primary School.

Entrepreneurial Programme

Micklefield runs a 6 month voluntary Entrepreneurial Programme where the girls can choose to be involved in a business venture, where they can make a profit, or they can choose to do a service or community outreach project. The focus is on the individual child and on supporting and developing the girls’ own passions and interests.
