weekly snapshots

Grade 4s strike a pose with their sit-up counting robots, combining fitness AND technology. Ms Blackbeard, you would be so proud!

Pre-dawn madness as grades unite for an unforgettable game of Rat Ball!

The Grade 5s were so excited to investigate materials that are good conductors of electricity. They tested various materials and observed which material allowed electricity to flow through. Hannah excitedly discovered that if she used two batteries instead of one, the light bulb would shine brighter!

FOUNDATION PHASE ARTIST OF THE WEEK: Anna Bennett (Gr 1)
INTERMEDIATE PHASE ARTIST OF THE WEEK: Chelsea Peterssen (Gr 6)
Well done to Audrey Quin for her beautiful piano performance in Junior Assembly
Well done to Hannah Pearson and Isabella van Koesveld for their excellent solo piano performances in Assembly

Grade 3s working with Mrs Zizi in a hands-on counting lesson and making puppets with Mrs Zizi in preparation for creating plays in groups.

The grade 3s enjoyed the first of three Drama Therapy sessions with Jessica Mason on Thursday. They explored themes such as friendship, cooperation, building on each other’s ideas instead of shutting them down and being a good listener, all though roleplay, games and stories. It was a lovely way to build our class community and bring us together as classmates.

The library bread tag collection is going strong and we are now ready for another delivery.
Please remember to collect these little plastic tags!
Having fun on the veranda on a rainy day.

These Beanies will be distributed between Beanies for Bridges and The Dominican School for the Deaf and the Octopi to Thula Baba Foundation . The baby beanies and blanket will go to the Lions Club. A big thank you to all of you who knitted, delivered , donated wool etc.
