INTER-SCHOOLS CROSS COUNTRY

Well done to all our runners who participated in the PGSGU Inter-Schools Cross Country competition, held at RGHS on Thursday 12 October. The girls did exceptionally well, finishing 5th out of 8 – a big improvement from 7th place last year even without many of our runners who were away on Shocking Pink Tour. Congratulations to our U10 team who finished 2nd in their age group and especially Catherine Davidge who finished 2nd in the U10 race.

SANLAM CAPE TOWN MARATHON

Our very own Alison Smith will be participating on Sunday.  She is one of 6 runners who are on the ‘Cape Town Marathon Hall of Fame’ for having completed 11 Cape Town marathons since 2012.  Many of our parents are also competing so lets get out there and support them.  For those of you who live near to Micklefield, the route goes right past our school so wear some pink and line the streets to cheer them on!
