Please check both the Term 1 and 4 (Summer) and the Term 2 and 3 (Winter) schedules when doing your planning. All information with regards to the private extra-murals on offer are available on the Edana App under Documentation, Sport/Extra-murals. Please liaise directly with the extra-mural providers.
All netball is complete for the term.
All hockey is complete for the term.
The Grade 1 extra-mural hockey will finish on Monday, 18 September and the Grade 2 extra-mural hockey will finish on Wednesday, 20 September.
The Open A and Open B hockey teams took part in the PGSGU Inter-Schools Hockey Tournament held at the WGJS Astros on Monday, 11th and Tuesday, 12th respectively. Both afternoons showcased great hockey with the girls giving their all in the last matches of the season. In the A tournament, all 8 girls’ schools competed, our girls finished 6th overall, drawing 3, winning 1 and losing 3. In the B tournament, 7 schools competed, our girls finished 4th overall, drawing 3, winning 1 and losing 2. Well done to all our players!
The Grade 1 class led the Foundation Phase Assembly this week and spoke about the meaning of diversity and how we are all different and unique even though we are Micklefield girls. Some of the Grade 1s volunteered to come up on stage and introduce themselves and say a few words about themselves and what sort of things they like doing. Well done, girls!
