weekly snapshots

The Grade 00s and Grade 0s went to sing at The Manor in Pinelands on Wednesday morning as part of their Micklefield Birthday celebrations. The girls sang with gusto and the ‘oldies’ were thoroughly entertained!
The Grade 6s delivered 74 teddies to the Red Cross Children’s War Memorial Hospital. Each teddy was given with tons of love from our Micklefield girls.

Grade 2 and Grade 6 Birthday collaboration making cards for the children at Red Cross Children’s Hospital.

Grade 3s washed, peeled, chopped and packaged soup ingredients for The Haven Night Shelter

The Grade 5s spent time making sandwiches in support of Ladles of Love.

The 1s visited Avondrust Retirement Home for their Birthday outing. The girls sang to the residents and brought them some flowers, treats and cards. The ladies at the home absolutely loved making contact with the girls and really enjoyed listening to them sing.

Thank you to all for the incredible support for our Birthday Beanie drive. 231 beanies have been donated towards the “Beanies for Bridges” initiative for vulnerable teenagers at the Bridges Retreat Centre in Franshoek.

And what is a Birthday without cake? HAPPY 94th BIRTHDAY MICKLEFIELD SCHOOL!

Thank you to our weekly Snack Pack volunteers for prepping the orders and for joining in the Birthday Beanie fun!

We are so fortunate to be treated to the most beautiful performances by our young musicians early on Assembly days.

Thank you to our Juniors: Olivia Dunsby, Juliette Peter (Recorders) Maya Hayes,
