Please ensure that your daughter’s hair is neatly tied back and the correct hair accessories are used.

Please check both the Term 1 and 4 (Summer) and the Term 2 and 3 (Winter) schedules when doing your planning. There will be some updates to the winter schedule before the end of the year. The Grade 1 and 2 girls brought their dads to school on Friday night for a camp out on our school field. There was great excitement as tents were being pitched and fires lit. The girls had so much fun with their friends. There was storytime with Gilly, a braai for supper and then lots of games with torches and glow in the dark toys. Hot chocolate with marshmallows was served before bedtime. A huge thank you to all the dads who attended and who made this magical night under the stars possible for the girls.
Well done to Gen Schutz and her team for an absolutely stunning Micklefield Art Exhibition. The artwork displayed was of an exceptionally high standard with the collaborative grade pieces and exhibits by professional artists from adding an extra special touch. Thank you to everyone who came to view and celebrate the artistic talents of our community.
Grade 4s making maths videos to demonstrate found angles around the school.
“When the Moon hits your eye like a great Oreo pie; that’s amore!” Grade 6s are covering Earth and Beyond, and are learning about the phases of the Moon. We created Oreo Moon Phase models, and obviously could not let all those biscuits go to waste!
The Grade 7s Games Day was a roaring success, with innovative and fun games on offer for the Grade 3-6s. Thank you to everyone who supported them, they raised the fabulous amount of R7200 towards their gift to the school.
