TERM 1 EVENTS – SAVE THE DATES!

  • Sports Day: 07:00 – 11:00, Saturday 24 February (Please see all information and programme for Sports Day on the Edana App under Documents – Sport & Extra-Murals).

UNIFORM HATS

Our school uniform policy (refer to Edana App – Documents) states that girls in Grades 1-2 may wear the white Micklefield caps and the grey Micklefield caps are for Grades 3-7. If the grey cap is way too big for your daughter in Grades 3-7, a white cap can then be worn. It is essential that every child has a hat at school every day.

LOST PROPERTY

All unclaimed and unmarked lost property has now been absorbed into the Second Hand Uniform shop. This will be the procedure at the end of each week. Marked items that are picked up around the school are being handed out to the girls daily in their classrooms, at a cost of 10 house points for each item (Gr1-7).

BICYCLE RACK

We happy to announce that we have a new bicycle rack at the front of the school, to the right inside the main gate. Please park any bicycles there. Happy cycling!

Grade 1-3 pupils at Walmer Estate Primary were delighted to return to school this year and hear that Father Christmas had brought them each a gift! Past Micklefield teacher, Pippa Schouw, personally selected the gift to best suit each child. Thank you to all who contributed and made a bright and exciting start to the school year for these pupils.

The Great Hopper Race! Well done, Grade 4s, on your fantastic collaboration and problem-solving in Robotics. It wasn’t easy controlling those playful hoppers!
